NotesIn 1883, Louisa Guy, 11 (along with brother, Walter Guy, 5), arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 126 children en route to various destinations.

Louisa Guy, aged 14, from West Derby Union, placed with O. A. Bush, Coldwater P.O., Simcoe Co. Ontario. Was taken for servant, for board and clothes, until she was 15 years of age; after that she was to receive $3 per month. She does not suit Mrs. Bush and the place does not suit the girl. 1 recommend a change. The girl appears strong and healthy and should suit in many places."

On November 25, 1895, at Coldwater, Simcoe, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Louisa Guy, 22, born in Liverpool, Lancashire, England, to unknown parents; and Sylvester Walker, 23, labourer, born in Stouffville, Ontario, Canada, to Thos and Elizabeth Walker.
